Arizona Jr/Sr High School boasts a highly qualified teaching staff, each member bringing a wealth of expertise and dedication to the classroom. Comprising experienced educators and subject matter experts, this team is committed to nurturing the academic growth of every student.

Lori Boyce

Chief Executive Officer

Lori is an innovative thinker and has worn many hats over the past 18 years. She has worked in the education industry since 2005. Lori started her career working with young men and women as a 4H-Leader. She had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of young individuals in public speaking, rocket club, horse club, and market animal.

In 2005, she was hired as a paraprofessional at a local charter school to help struggling students. Lori also transitioned to other positions to support the students, including working as the registrar, administrative assistant, and student mentor. She has also had the opportunity to work in similar roles within the district schools.

In 2018, Lori’s entrepreneurial journey led to the foundation of her own educational business. She started her business with a small team and a big vision. Over the years, she has dedicated herself to growing her company and supporting students she knows will be successful community members. She has faced many challenges as a female entrepreneur, but that has not stopped her from pursuing her dreams.

Lori’s passion for supporting students in her community expanded further when Arizona Jr/Sr High School was established as part of her educational business venture. Accredited in 2022, Arizona Jr/Sr High School has provided opportunities for hundreds of students in Northern Arizona. As her business grows, so does her desire to help the youth in the region.

Lori continues to serve in her community and is a role model and inspiration for others following in her footsteps.

Patricia Martin

Executive Director of Operations

Patricia brings over 20 years of experience in the field of education. She began her career at a small after-school program in Junction City, Kansas, at her son and daughter’s school while her husband was in the army. Her family moved to Prescott, Arizona, after her husband was medically retired and became an assistant teacher for the kindergarten program for five years. While in Prescott Valley, she transitioned to a small charter school where she taught middle school students for two years. In 2009, she transitioned into their High School Program while attending Grand Canyon University, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education. After receiving her degree, she was promoted to Site Director for the Prescott Valley Charter School until 2014.

She moved to Phoenix, Arizona, in 2014 and worked for another Charter School as their direct instruction English Teacher for two years. In 2016, she was offered a position at another Charter School closer to her home and family and worked for them until 2019. In 2019, she moved to Camp Verde, Arizona, and became a partner in the creation of Arizona Jr/Sr High School, contributing to its establishment and vision. Patricia is also working towards the Master of Education in K12 Leadership.

Glenn Carroll

Executive Director of Outreach and Enrollment

Glenn’s professional career started right after graduating high school in Massachusetts when he decided to join the United States Army. While in the Army, he worked in computer systems as an operator, programmer, and analyst for almost nine years. Glenn changed his career path and became an Army recruiter and then a station commander for the Prescott recruiting station for five years. As a station commander, he covered all Yavapai County high schools and colleges. Twice during his time there, he achieved the top award bestowed by the Army Chief of Staff, the highest-ranking Army official under the Chief of Staff and the President. Glenn served seventeen years of service, including three years of Army medical professional recruiting covering north Texas, all of Arizona, and southern Nevada. He exited his service with the highest award a recruiter can achieve, the Glen E. Morell Achievement Award.

Glenn transitioned and worked as a temporary United States Postal Service employee. He started school using the G.I. Bill and graduated with an Applied Science of Computer Electronics and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from DeVry University. After earning his degree, he taught at several Yavapai County public schools as a high school Math and Resource Instructor and at a local charter school. A few years later, he attended the University of Phoenix and completed a Master’s in Secondary Education. In July of 2018, he became a partner in the creation of Arizona Jr/Sr High School, contributing to its development and vision.

Jessica De La Cruz

Senior Vice President of Operations

Mrs. Jessica De La Cruz is an accomplished educator and community leader with over 15 years of experience spanning secondary and higher education. As the Senior Vice President of Arizona Jr/Sr High School, Mrs. De La Cruz plays a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s mission to provide exceptional educational opportunities. She began with the organization as a consultant in 2023 through her business and was hired in January 2025 to continue fostering student success and operational excellence.

Having served as a principal at a local high school for 7 years, Mrs. De La Cruz is deeply committed to helping students achieve their full potential. Her passion for teaching middle and high school students stems from her genuine care for their future and success in the community. She actively fosters leadership, academic excellence, and personal growth in every student.

In addition to her administrative role, Mrs. De La Cruz has taught Leadership and Motivation at Dubuque University for 3 years, inspiring the next generation of leaders. She holds a Master’s in Administration with an emphasis in leadership, is a Certified Teacher in Career and Technical Education (marketing and business), and is a certified adult educator. As a certified Speaker, Coach, and Trainer under the John Maxwell Leadership program, she equips students with the skills, confidence, and motivation they need to thrive in the community and beyond. Mrs. De La Cruz’s holistic approach to education and leadership exemplifies her unwavering dedication to student success and community impact.
